Program Notes
This "miss milquetoast" is inspired by a real-life event where I suffered a panic attack at a new music concert. The lyrics, snarky and somewhat tongue-in-cheek, take significant inspiration from the work of Frank Zappa. The music elements, provided by the piano and fixed tape part, serve to both emphasize the lyrical content and to convey the chaos of emotions, memories, and connections associated with the onset of a panic attack.
